About Us
You've probably come to this site because you are generally interested or curious about hypnosis. We think you have come to the right place. The following will help you to determine who we are and what we advocate.
We are a group of health care professionals (physicians, psychologists, dentists, chiropractors, social workers and nurses), who believe in the power of properly applied hypnosis, as used by licensed health care professionals. In this website, we'd like to:
- answer any questions you may have about hypnosis
- tell you about some of the conditions that hypnosis has been successfully used to treat
- provide some solid facts about what it can and cannot do
- help you access more information about it
One of the problems with the internet is that there are so many sources of information, that it is difficult to know what to believe. On this and the linked pages we'd like to guide you to sources of information that we believe have valid information about hypnosis. Then, it's up to you to make up your own mind.
